An outside entrance to the downstairs community room is available for easy access.

When

Monday mornings for 5 weeks* beginning on May 22, 2017 and ending on June 26, 2017.

* There is no class on Monday, May 29 as the library is closed for Memorial Day.

10:30am – 11:45am

About Gentle Yoga

This 5-week class, led by Yoga instructor Nicole Stumpf (RYT/OTR), is limited to 12 survivors.

Classes are 75 minutes in length and participants get the most benefit when present for the full duration of the class.

Gentle Yoga is designed for breast and gynecological cancer survivors to help create freedom, space, and confidence.

This class will use guided meditation, breath work, gentle movements, therapeutic poses, and music. Focus will be on reducing stress, fatigue, and pain, and finding creativity in movements within a safe environment.

Attendance Guidelines

This Gentle Yoga Session* is 5 weeks in duration. No more than one class may be missed. If a participant misses more than one class and wishes to enroll in a future session, they will be wait-listed pending an available spot.

* Make-up classes are not offered and drop-ins are not allowed.

Remember, you must register in advance if you want to attend. We are enrolling participants on a first come, first serve basis!

About Nicole Stumpf

Yoga Instructor Nicole StumpfNicole is a Kripalu Yoga Instructor, Integrative Yoga Therapist in-training, and owner of Keuka Peaceful Roots Wellness Center in Hammondsport, NY.

In her classes, she encourages students to engage in non-judgmental and compassionate self-observation.

Nicole and her husband live on and operate Oak & Osage Farm. They grow a diversity of organic vegetables for CSA members and local restaurants. She is passionate about mind/body wellness and enjoys connecting people with delicious, healthy, and local food.
