About This Presentation

Radiation treatment for cancer is known to reduce recurrence and increase survival of the disease. But are there risks associated with this form of treatment? What long-term effects may be attributed to radiation therapy for breast cancer and gynecologic cancer survivors? Do the therapeutic benefits outweigh the potential risks? Are there ways to prevent or minimize long-term effects? What should a patient be aware of in the weeks, months, and years following radiation treatment?

Elena A. Nedea, MD from UR Medicine – Noyes Health will be our guest speaker. Join us!

We Share the Air! The Breast Cancer Coalition is a Scent Free Environment. We ask that all individuals, including guests and consumers, refrain from wearing scented products at our office, program locations, and events we host in the community.
