PTSD after cancer can show up in different ways. Some people may have unwanted memories, strong feelings of fear or worry, trouble sleeping, or physical tension in the body. These responses are connected to how the brain and body react to stress and trauma.

In this session, you will learn:
- What PTSD is and how it relates to cancer experiences
- How trauma can show up in thoughts, emotions, and the body
- Common signs of PTSD, such as fear, worry, or intrusive memories
- How the nervous system responds to stress and triggers
- Treatment options that can support healing, including therapy approaches
- Practical coping strategies for managing symptoms in daily life
- When and how to seek professional support
This webinar is for people living with breast or gynecologic cancer, survivors, caregivers, and health care providers who want to better understand trauma after cancer and ways to support recovery.
While PTSD can feel overwhelming, there are effective treatments and coping strategies that can help people heal and improve their quality of life over time.
