Learn about Volunteer Opportunities

Are you interested in learning more about breast and gynecologic cancers, as well as our programs and services? The Coalition’s Outreach Program provides engaging presentations (both in-person and online) and educational materials tailored for both large and small groups. While October is a key time to raise awareness for breast cancer, we’re available to speak with your group at any time throughout the year. Let us help you empower your community with valuable knowledge!

We welcome the opportunity to come to your:

  • Festival • Health fair • Wellness event •  School • University • Religious organization • Cancer Center • Work place

We offer talks focused on a variety of topics related to breast and gynecologic cancer:

  • An overview of our Four Pillars of Service: Support, Education, Advocacy, and Research
  • “Think Before You Pink”– an increasing awareness surrounding cause marketing, exploitation of the pink ribbon, becoming a more discerning consumer.
  • Coalition’s Advocacy work: learn about current legislation on the local, state, and federal levels that the  Advocacy Committee supports and is working to get passed
  • Reducing toxic exposures in daily life.

We can provide materials for you to display or share:

  • Quarterly newsletter Voices of the Ribbon.
  • Program booklet, general brochure
  • Flyers and postcards about upcoming programming
  • Educational resources, such as our 10 Facts Sheets about Breast Cancer and Gynecologic Cancer
