What We Do

Our Four Pillars

The Breast Cancer Coalition is the only full-scope, independently-operated organization focused on serving breast and gynecologic cancer survivors in Central and Western New York regions.

We are a community-based, grassroots organization dedicated to eradicating breast cancer through research and advocacy. Our supportive and educational programs are available to breast and gynecologic cancers survivors.

We are a diverse group of breast and gynecologic cancer activists, survivors, warriors, and advocates. We are women, men, families, partners, mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, and others dedicated to our mission.

All programs and services are FREE of charge.

Our Mission

To cultivate community among those touched by breast or gynecologic cancer; to empower informed decision-making through education, support, and advocacy; and to advance research in our region with the goal of eradicating breast cancer.

Our History

We formally organized as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization in 1997. Our Center is conveniently located within the City of Rochester’s “Art Walk” neighborhood, is handicapped-accessible, and easily accessed by public transportation.
