My name is Yvette Jackson. I am the mother of two adult daughters, grandmother of 4 and great grandmother of 1. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on January 10, 2009. I had my surgery on March 24, 2009 and completed treatment in October, 2009. I am a two year breast cancer survivor. I have 20 years of nursing services and work as a medical liaison. GOD has given me another out look on life and a purpose. I must take good care of myself including my mind, body and spirit and I’m here to support and encourage another sister during her journey through breast cancer and the healing process. Through the breast cancer process I received the gift of friendship that I don’t have to do anything by myself; we draw strength from one another through friendship.
