“You have cancer.” Those are words no one wants to hear. And that is why the Coalition exists. We educate, nurture, empower and listen to those who have had to be on the receiving end of those devastating words. Founded 22 years ago as a resource for those in our community, the Breast Cancer Coalition supports individuals touched by breast and gynecologic cancer, and advances breast cancer research.
The Breast Cancer Coalition provides the following to the breast and gynecologic cancer survivor community:
Programs and Services:
Support and educational programs are offered at no charge to anyone who has been diagnosed with breast or gynecologic cancer.
Since 2003, the Coalition has awarded more than $950,000 to researchers in Upstate and Western New York for projects that yield significant medical breakthroughs in the causes and prevention of breast cancer, prevention of metastasis, and cure.
The Coalition advocates and lends support to breast cancer public policy at the local, state, and national level.
Are you ready to join us and support local breast and gynecologic cancer survivors? Contact Carly today at (585) 473-8177 or by email!
