Tai Chi is an ancient martial art that consists fo a series of small, specific movements that, with practice, flow seamlessly. The slow, rhythmic movements combined with deep, relaxation breathing can help to bring a sense of peace and grounding. Tai Chi’s goal is to improve your ability to relax and de-stress. Tai Chi has other benefits such as decreasing falls in the elderly and reducing arthritis.
Tai Chi is offered in 5-week sessions and held on Wednesdays. Classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. Class size is limited to 12-14 individuals. Participants must commit to all sessions in the series. Make-up classes are not offered.
Advance registration is required.
