Tai Chi is an ancient martial art that consists of a series of small, specific movements that, with practice, flow seamlessly. The slow, rhythmic movements combined with deep, relaxation breathing can help to bring a sense of peace and grounding. Tai Chi’s goal is to improve your ability to relax and de-stress. Tai Chi has other benefits such as decreasing falls in the elderly and reducing arthritis.

Some comments from Tai Chi participants:
The Tai Chi movements and music were soothing to my body and soul. Great way to end my busy week with this class. I was able to show some of the movements (although not perfect) to my coworkers, friends and family – as Jean mentioned “There is no wrong way.”
The fluidity of it, such a lovely practice. Jean explained it very well… what movements do for various parts of the body/organs.
After each class I felt relaxed. Felt I had learned so much. Was in a great mood. Jean has an easy going personality that puts you at ease and no pressure.
Jean was friendly, patient, easy to understand, and explained each step thoroughly. I learned so much. Felt very relaxed after each class.
