Voices and Vision is an engaging writing class for those interested in thinking creatively while recording personal experiences, memories, feelings, and thoughts. Each week participants respond to prompts that challenge us to reflect on more than just cancer, and focus on the broader aspects of life’s journey. For those interested, there will be opportunities to share your writing with the group.
All you need is a journal, a writing utensil, and an open mind!
Advance registration is required.
The Breast Cancer Coalition offers programs and services at no charge.
Voices and Vision Series are offered throughout the year for 4 – 5 consecutive weeks on:
- Tuesday evenings
- Wednesday afternoons
- Saturday mornings (4 weeks)

Some comments from Voices & Vision participants:
Amazing camaraderie among participants and willingness to share openly in a supportive space. Some talented writers, too!
The sharing at the end of each writing was the most powerful part for me. Women openly sharing their insights and storylines, was a great experience.
It is interesting and challenging to see where your mind can go in a short time with a prompt. The sharing is also valuable.
The encouragement to “play” with writing rather than worry about doing it “successfully” to do a good job. That gave me freedom to let ideas flow.
