Research Initiative – Planting the Seed, Funding Innovative Research
Since 2003, the Breast Cancer Coalition Research Initiative has awarded over $1.2 million in funding to regional researchers examining the cause, prevention, prevention of metastasis, and cure of breast cancer. Having awarded 32 seed grants over the last 22 years, the Coalition plans to extend these grant opportunities to fund gynecologic cancer research in the near future.
